Inclusive play in the city of Assen Netherlands

Assen is a city situated in the north of the Netherlands. The voice of children is important for this city. Four years ago the city started the Children’s council of Assen. The children’s councel consists of 33 children, one elected child from every primary school in the city. This year Luna is elected as the children’s mayor. Luna has a sister with a disability. It is not easy for Luna and her sister to play together outside. Luna has a mission, an inclusive playground for all children in Assen! The children’s council invited me to give a breef online presentation about inclusive play with practical advices to take action!
