2 million Dutch people have a physical or mental disability. In the UN Convention on Disability, the Netherlands has committed itself to making society accessible to people with disabilities. But our country does not yet seem to be very successful in this. Not nearly every place is accessible to people with disabilities, waiting lists in special education are increasing and there is more poverty among people with disabilities. How inclusive is the Netherlands for people with disabilities?

But it does not make you happy. 100 municipalities in the Netherlands do not yet have a Local Inclusion Agenda, more and more children do not go to special education instead of going to school in their own neighborhood.
